Wycombe Abbey School : Café

A new café was formed in an existing external courtyard at the heart of the school.

The space is naturally lit by a large central roof light and existing brickwork and flint panels were cleaned, providing a warm backdrop to the new space.

Acoustic control was achieved by timber strip ceilings, with absorbent backings and the use of perforated plasterboard linings to the roof light perimeter.

Existing locker rooms adjacent to the cafe were also refurbished to create locker, study and office spaces
