Work commences on house refurbishment
Work has commenced on the refurbishment of a large late Victorian House in South Manchester.
The building, dating from 1897, is constructed in Accrington brick, with terracotta mouldings and details like this ornate label stop. The principal rooms will be restored and the entrance hall opened up to form a top-lit double height galleried space. A new garage and accommodation block will be constructed alongside the house using bricks from the recently reopened Accrington works.
